John Galliano fue arrestado el pasado jueves acusado de haber emitido presuntamente insultos antisemitas y racistas tras discutir con una pareja en una terraza en el barrio parisino de Le Marais, cerca del domicilio franc\u00e9s del modisto. Ayer mismo volvi\u00f3 a presentarse otra segunda demanda contra el dise\u00f1ador en la que una mujer asegura que ha sido “asaltada verbalmente con insultos antisemitas” en el mismo bar, hace unas semanas. Galliano se ha defendido sobre ambas demandas y afirma que denunciar\u00e1 a la primera mujer que le acus\u00f3. No obstante, existe un v\u00eddeo en el que se ve a Galliano -aparentemente ebrio- profiriendo algunos de estos insultos. En concreto manifiesta palabras como: “Yo amo a Hitler. La gente como vosotros deber\u00edais estar muertos. Vuestras madres, vuestros padres, deber\u00edais estar todos gaseados”. Aqu\u00ed os cuelgo el v\u00eddeo:<\/p>\n

Asimismo, Dior ha subrayado su “pol\u00edtica de tolerancia cero hacia cualquier palabra o comportamiento antisemita”. A\u00fan as\u00ed, la firma confirma que su desfile se celebrar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo viernes 4 como estaba previsto en el museo Rodin. Si Galliano sale o no a saludar al final por primera vez en 15 a\u00f1os depender\u00e1 de lo que suceda en estos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

Como os dec\u00eda al principio, me sorprende que en los tiempos que corren, y despu\u00e9s de los hechos registrados en la historia mundial, haya personas que sigan teniendo esa mentalidad y de verdad puedan decir cosas como que aman a Hitler.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, no es el \u00fanico dise\u00f1ador que suelta estas “joyitas” por la boca. Nada m\u00e1s enterarme de los comentarios de Galliano se me ha venido a la cabeza las declaraciones de Tommy Hilfiger -aunque todav\u00eda hay gente que sigue diciendo que Hilfiger no verti\u00f3 esas declaraciones racistas-. No obstante, no hace mucho, el dise\u00f1ador norteamericano respondi\u00f3 tajantemente con un “S\u00ed” cuando la presentadora Oprah Winfrey le pregunt\u00f3 si \u00e9l dijo lo siguiente: “Si yo hubiera sabido que los negros americanos, los latinos colombianos, venezolanos, cubanos, mexicanos y los asi\u00e1ticos comprar\u00edan mi ropa, no la hubiese dise\u00f1ado tan buena. Desear\u00eda que ese tipo gente no comprara mi ropa, pues est\u00e1 hecha para gente cauc\u00e1sica, de clase alta… y desear\u00eda d\u00e1rsela mejor a los cerdos”.<\/p>\n
